Indications

Contraindication
Pizotifen (Hydrogen Maleate) is contraindicated in conditions like Glucoma,Prostatic hypertrophy.
Side Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Pizotifen (Hydrogen Maleate) are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Dizziness, Drowsiness, Dry mouth, Increased appetite.
Warnings
Patients should be warned that owing to its possible sedative effect, pizotifine may slow their reactions when driving vehicles or operating machinery etc.
High Risk Groups
