Indications
Lactic Acid is primarily indicated in conditions like Pruritus, Skin diseases, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Stomatitis.
Contraindication
Lactic Acid is contraindicated in conditions like Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Side Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Lactic Acid are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Vomiting, Erythema, Irritation, Burning, Stinging on application.
Warnings
Lactic acid may be used with caution during pregnancy or lactation. It should be used with caution in patients with any skin infections, skin disorders, are sensitive to any topical lotions or creams or if have any allergy.
